Poem of The Day - Indian Dress
August 14, 2008 9:30 am Poem, Poem of The Day, RelationshipsI’ve been doing this for about a month now, publishing a poem of mine each day, but because I accidently deleted all that, I will go one forward and one back.
INDIAN DRESS
She was wearing an indian dress
I must confess
My eyes were took
Her name is Dawn
Rightly so
Her smile brings up the sun
An embrace that rises the blood
She gets on top
always ontop of everything
She rocks
Then we came together
She wears an indian dress
My eyes are took
You can guess the rest
There is no one like her
Not another
Smaller than most
Stronger than many

I wrote this for my current wife. There was a dress she used to wear for me a lot, it fit her very well, so I wrote her this. I don’t have a picture of that dress, but the picture above is even better you think. From her dance class as a teenager.
This used to be one of my most popular poems because it seemed that when someone searched for an indian dress, my poem would show up in the search engine. It was generating a lot of traffic.
