Poem of The Day – Growning Old

Growing Old

So confident
So proud
So sure
So young
Yet who are you
You are me when I was young
When you are older
You will understand

Yet you hurt me so and you don’t know how
Don’t have a cow man
But I’ve had six flat think I’m gonna have a heart attack

The love I share you see nowhere
I’m not noticed except in a picture when you find the time to look

Oh well
I was you once and I have done what you do now
It is true
What comes around goes around
It’s all coming back to me now

Just wrote this today, had a little more than I should drink, but I’m ok.? It’s my turn, I guess is what I’m trying to say.? I’ve hurt people older than me, like my father for instance, because I thought I knew better, well I didn’t, but now I wished I did, because it’s now coming back to me.? What I have done is being done to me.? Some would say I’m just getting old.
