You know what made this man so great. He always told the truth about himself, never thought he was better than anybody and so he was always one of us. Like all of us are we just don’t always know it.
Back in the day when my dad was my friend, he used to sing. I remember him singing Johny Cash’s songs and then he went away and came a born again Christian and never sang again, never could understand that and I don’t think Johny Cash would either. Dad, this father’s day, I hope the angels are teaching you to sing again. I hope I write the song.
