The Self Righteous
And The Righteous
There will always be earthquakes
Rainstorms and hurricanes
Changing the earth we are living on
But the inside
stays the same
And we
On the outside
Change constantly
Making ourselves
What we want others to see
But the inside
stays the same
Who accepts their feelings
and lives them out
Who hides them inside
trying to snuff them out
Who’s wrong
And who’s right
The body gets old and dies
But the feelings last forever
for all of us
