It’s Nothing Personal
If people don’t like you
They won’t like you
Can’t make them like you
No need to hurt eternal
Caus it’s nothing personal
Some like the cactus
Others the flower
Some want a butterfly
Others the life after life of the crow
What we know is
No one will like everyone
Some will like no one
Others will only like some one
No need for that hurt feel
No need to die
or wonder why
Reach as hard as you may
Can’t reach the sky
Building bridges to no where
Take you no place
Don’t matter no how
Just say, “Whatever”
Go on
Notice those who do care
If you can’t find anyone
There is one man who loves everyone
They call him the son
If there is no one else
Reach out to that one

Guilt By Default
My face smeared across the basement
A picture defaced
All goodness erased
In my disguise
I wait for peace to arise
Stepped on
I take a step down
Against an attack
I took a step back
My precious stones
polished for no one
Awaiting the rise
of the one they call the son
Some say I am wrong
But God knows I’ve hurt no one
I’ve loved, cared and shared
Ask for nothing from no one
Guilty they are ashamed
and make me the blame
Until proven innocent
Jesus sees all the same

Friendship
You need a friend
I understand
I need a friend
Understand
I have about
A million things that need to come out
You have emotions you want to feel
Daily, the world tries to kill
That’s what happens when a bird learns to fly
Its got to get loose
or face the noose of a rope
You can’t cope with being alone
You can’t stick around
I know the tone
Someday the song will mix with the music
The little lamb will find its mother
For now
We have to help each other

Mother Wakes At Noon
Chains reaching up from the ground
No one
Nobody to be found
None
Butterflies sing that song
You know the one
That one no one hears
Nobody
None
Wind blows the trees
When I look up
They’re pointing down
At me
And there is no one
Nobody around
None
Just me
And the ground
But at noon
When the sun reaches its height
on the twenty first day
of the twelfth month
In the year – 2012
An earthquake
will brake me free
You looking at me
Waiting
For the day
The ground shakes
The day mother will awake
The ground opens up
swallow up the pain
brake the chains
You’ll see me
Free
to be with you
You will see me
And there
We will be
All accusing fingers will be braking
Hatred back biting bitterness shaking
and love
Taking its place
In a new time
In the year 2012

What’s Inside Of You
Those who live long wish to die soon
Those about to die wish to live long
Its never right
Why is everything always wrong
So who wrote the rules
I have a few things to say to that one
They say be happy
So be happy
and they find something you did wrong
Then they will say
It is because we love you
What’s up with this always finding something wrong song
Just go on
Pay no attention
Nothing to see here
Except fear
Afraid to say what is on your mind
Afraid they will laugh at you for
A long long time
The straight road is square
Boring
A crooked road is wasteful
And I have a bucket full of things to save
No place to store them
Do you have room for me
Will you be my friend
Oh I’m sorry
Did I ask you to sin
You can blame me for what you feel
And I’ll take my pill
But there is a darkness inside of you
The light may never fill

The Hearts Are Tested
In this place
The hearts are being tested
Hearts made of stone sink and drown
The rest live forever
Learn to float
Son
The test of a strong man
Is a man who can still care
After being treated unfair
God is loving
Giving the careless an excuse
But don’t you
Die young too
Live on through
Be yourself
Don’t fight your life
It’s given to you to learn
Experience and feel
It’s a test
Everything before you
Is a lesson for you
A test of you
Pay attention
Take care
And do well

Alfred’s Song
The page of truth we do not speak
We speak only of the pages edge
Who will cross the page
Realise its hight and depth
No one
It has never been done
The truth in the sky is hidden
by an artificial light
Sunshine relieves the pain
of the freezing rain
And at times seems insane
Falling taller than the stone
A frog jumps for no one
A frog jumps alone
And Alfred has written a song
No one will understand

The Seed
My skin is peeled to the bone
No one recognizes me
No one knows me
Can you
Will you
See me
The marrow bleeds
Looking deep inside
Invisible to the naked eye
A seed
But I don’t see
Stone ground is the love I share
No one is fair to me
No one cares for me
Can you
Will you
Help me
The dust blows
Looking deep inside
Invisible to the naked eye
A seed
But I don’t see
An earthquake shatters the truth
The ground knocks out my feet
Vultures circle over me
My stomach growls
But there’s nothing to eat
Looking inside
I see – A Seed
Standing to see better
I watch it sprout within me
Hearing distant thunder
I know there must be water
Washing my feet in a puddle
I feel better
Planted
A fruit vine grows within
I believe
Oh God – Please
Forgive me
Give me this chance
Let me just be a branch
The fruit of the vine becomes me
And overcomes me
Full – I share
Because I care

Fall In Spirit City
Bricks crash through the window
A wrecking ball stops to look
What can it see
Blind eyes just walk by
Just another day in the streets of fall in spirit city
And these streets are so dirty
Awaiting the wind to blow it away
and rain to wash the tears away
Crawling to the future
with so many bills to pay
The water is clean
while the sunshine bleeds
Forgetting the needs
Taxes
The seeds of destruction we are forced to pay
We are superheroes on a tv screen
Hating ourself
when giving in to what’s going around
Can anyone make this right
The eyes are all on us
Please don’t make a fuss
I’m building this wall
one brick at a time
When it crashes down
Will you still be around
Bodies are walking around
But no souls can be found
They just follow the rules
and its just another day in fall in spirit city

Guess This Is Me
I woke up
and found myself in someone else’s shoe
The shoe did not fit
Wondering if I’ll get back to where
my feet belong
Its a long road
A long road to get there
They called out his name
He looked like me
But he wasn’t the same
Where did he come from
and why is he wearing my shoe
She said to me
you put that shoe on
all I could do was shrug
and agree
how can I explain
what I can’t understand
anyway
Jacobs ladder has been rolled down to me
I’m climbing aboard my ship
I’ll be captain of this ship
and I’ll take no lip
We’ll sail towards the one
and reach the end at nights setting sun
