WE WON'T DISCUSS IT

You laid in my arms
I took your tears in my chest
Now I'm someone we won't discus

My paycheck once supported your children
I've paid your debts
Now I'm someone we won't discus

When your daughter disobeyed and talked back
I stood by your side and fought back
Now I'm someone we won't discus

There were women I loved
But I stayed - they would say goodby
Now I'm someone we won't discus

Falsely accused - You'd agree
When I complained - I should be shamed
Because I'm someone we won't discus

Told my friends I was crazy
Told my family I was insane
You'll persevere
Because you love me just so dear
You've made me out to be so bad - and I have only been so good
Now you found someone else to love - and I am to blame
But that is something we won't discus

But I say
You've used a good man - and that's a sin
Someday - this will all be discussed
